A Compare with the enormous amount of time and money spend on printing, photocopying, going around to put your ads up, URbANONE.com makes it easy to sell second hand textbooks and find accomodations. It is a free service bought to you by uni students like you.

Q Will URbANONE.net buy any of my goods?
A No. URbANONE.com is a free, non-profit website that helps you find buyer/seller of your used books and goods. We're not a second hand shop, nor are we affiliated with any second hand shops.

Q How to bargain?
A Usually sellers reduce their price to a minimum for which they want to sell. Some people are willing to negotiate a little if the buyer buys several items at once.

Q What are the questions that people usually ask when responding to ads?
A Some common questions include 'what is the full name/author/ISBN/edition of the book?', 'what condition is the book/CD/DVD in?', 'will you allow return?', ' if yes, under what conditions?' We strongly encourage you to ask appropriate questions about any item you might be interested in.

Q When will the ads be deleted?
A Advertisments will be deleted after 30days to make room for other posts.

Q Who will be responsible for any losses incurred in the transactions?
A All transactions are solely at the risk of buyer and seller. The nature of internet makes it impossible to monitor who is using free services like this, we strongly advice you to withdraw from any transactions if you sense it may be a scam. A It's up to you. It's a good idea for both party to meet in a very public place, for example somewhere around the campus.

A ISBN is stands for International Standard Book Number, it is a product number for classification of books. You can find it at the back of most of the books and each book has a unique ISBN.

Q Why doen't my ad appear after submission?
A Your ad will usually appear within 24 hours of submission, this is to help us remove the automatic spams that are polluting the post. Occassionaly some ads are removed as they contained obscene languages.
